Comfort 1st Gives Back To The Community

Our family owned company takes pride in helping improve our local community not only through insulation, but through charity work and community events as well.

Comfort 1st is proud to host the Comfort 1st Kids Coat drive, which collects new or gently used coats for children ages 1-18. We also participate with a handmade float in the Rockford 4th of July parade annually. Finally, our company also is an active contributor in the Rockford Festival Of Lights.

We are excited to be a part of this year’s Festival of Lights at Sinnissippi Park!

Get in the Holiday Spirit and come enjoy the snow courtesy of Comfort 1st Insulation and Santa will even be making special visits the to this great local event.

In its 33rd year, the Festival of Lights is funded 100% by donations and through local businesses.

This FREE drive-through event will be lit every Thursday – Sunday from 5pm-11pm with extended hours the week of Christmas. For more information about this event, visit 4thandlights.com.

Thank you Rockford 4th of July Comitee for this honor! Proud to be voted #1 two years in a row for the most patriotic 4th of July float.

The Rockford 4th of July Committee puts in an enormous amount of work each year raising funds and organizing local charitable events like the parade to help pay for the fireworks each year. The fireworks are paid for 100% by donations. So when able, don’t forget do donate and help support their other events like the Festival of Lights. Every donation helps.

Comfort 1st Kids Coat Drive

Not all children have access to warm winter clothes and by donating new and used winter coats to kids ages 1-18, Comfort 1st Kids strives to keep children warm during winter. Our humanitarian project is based out of Rockford, IL and we are happy to help the local community stay comfortable with donated coats.
