Blown-in insulation is a loose-fill product that is installed with a blower machine. This type of insulation can be beneficial for small attics which do not have enough room for a technician to climb inside of and install batt insulation. Instead, blown-in insulation only needs a small access point and can be blown in with a machine.
Another amazing benefit of loose-fill insulation is that it can be installed in already existing walls, which is called retrofitting.
